Sitting Room to Dining Room
the sitting room featuring the antique Indian coffee table, flanked by sink-in fabric couches is on the first level. Look through to the dining room and outdoor garden.

The Second Level Sitting Room.
walking up the cement staircase, with its inlaid antique tiles (a signature of the Architect), brings you to the sitting room. Through this room you will enter the outdoor garden. The sitting room is ideal for entertaining, reading, or listening to music. Satellite TV is provided and hidden in the stunning antique Chinese cabinet.

The Third Level Bedroom
This large bedroom with four-poster antique king-size bed and antique ‘Almirah’ (wardrobe) has large windows on three walls allowing for light and breeze. One of the windows looks into the shaft with the indoor garden below and the sky above. The attached bathroom also features a light shaft and indoor garden.

Keep Walking
Step through for breakfast and be greeted by the vibrant outdoor courtyard garden. The glass windows slide right across to allow a feeling of eating in the garden.

The Entrance
The Moorish, unassuming exterior was specially crafted by the Architect to make a minimalist statement, but, to let nature do the talking with vibrant Bougainvilleas creeping through the concrete trellised wall.

The Indoor Garden.
the indoor garden is a bit of architectural genius. Adjacent to the sitting room this shaft has the blue sky as it’s ceiling. It provides for light and air circulation. When you get a shower of rain, you will enjoy the gentle sound of rain falling in the garden. We have a large palm growing in this garden, which is surrounded by potted plants. A water bowl is the centrepiece.

The Hallway.
Entering through the front door, you will have a complete mood change as you step into the hallway. From here you will find a separate entry into the bedroom and a courtyard cum carport. Walk through into the sitting room and enjoy your complimentary welcome drink.

From the First Level Bedroom
as you step out of your bedroom for breakfast be greeted by the lovely ambience of this space.

Art
The artworks around the rooms are painted by local Sri Lankan artists. The mood and ambience these works invoke has to be experienced.
